A domain name is everything you need to buy in order to launch a new website on the internet. But, the first question is, from where I should buy a domain name?. Because domain selling is one of the best businesses on the internet, there are hundreds of domain registration companies are active on the web.

Every registrar has their own domain pricing, but the first year pricing of most of the registrars is very cheap. Web hosting and domain registration companies more focus on new customers, that’s why their products and services are cheaper for new customers.

When you search for a new domain name availability, there you can see hundreds of domain extensions. Because registrant (like you) buy only single domain extension from the generic top-level domains (gTLDs), the registrar keeps trying to sell multiple extensions at once along with a domain extension you buy.

Generic top-level domains (gTLDs) like .com, .net, and .org has there each purpose, but the today’s internet are using any top-level domains (TLDs) for general purpose.

A few things you should know before relying on a domain registrar, such as transfer fees, private registration, domain parking, URL forwarding, and the renewal cost.

Following are the best domain name registrars on the internet:

Just because of their first year pricing like .com starts at $0.99, and .net starts at $1.99, many users go with GoDaddy. But, the renewal pricing is higher than other registrars. For domain related help, GoDaddy phone support is awesome, even it solve your problems on call.

Google domains is the most trustworthy domain registrar on the internet. Because it is currently marked beta, I cannot place it at the top of the list. Google’s products are 100% trusted, secure, and trustworthy in the world, and I believe as a domain registrar, Google will do their best.

The simple buy and renewal price of top-level domains is $12 per year, and it includes more features like private registration, DNS hosting, and domain forwarding without any additional cost.

The renewal cost of  a .com domain is about $38 per year, which is 3 times more costly than other registrars. But according to me, Register.com’s domain service is trustworthy.
