Whatsapp Business is expanding its range. In the future, customers can start chats using QR codes on packaging or receipts.
Like Whatsapp in one Blog post has announced, the Facebook subsidiary is adding new opportunities for Whatsapp Business. In this way, the catalogs receive extended functions and chats can be started more quickly using the QR code.
Start a chat with a company using a QR code
With the new QR codes, customers can start a chat with a company. In future, the QR code on the packaging, the receipt or the delivery note will serve as a digital entrance door. Customers can scan this QR code and start a chat with support directly – without first creating a new contact and phone number in the contact list.
