The Senior Organisational Development Advisor provides a complete OD service to their area of remit. They work with the Core Leadership Teams to develop and implement an annual local OD plan highlighting development priorities for services, functions and teams in their area. The local OD plan directly supports and enables local strategies and plans and draws on the approaches and methodologies outlined in the NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde OD Framework, to contribute to the design and delivery of the service or area strategy and objectives. You will be required to provide significant input and a strong influencing role to contribute to various service development and implementation of strategic and complex operational plans and the policy development process. You will work as part of the wider OD team to ensure linkage to and influence on external Leadership programmes, external academic and commercial provision to NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde. You will act as coach or mentor to Managers and Leaders at all levels of the Directorate as required and explore targeted and objective based mentoring and coaching opportunities across other services and/or organisations. It is essential that you have a Degree level qualification and Masters qualification on OD or similar (or experience that demonstrates this level of knowledge and learning). You should also have extensive experience and success in applying consulting skills with Director level people, understanding their environment and agenda and developing the trust and credibility that enable effective consulting and influence at that level. The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday 9.00am – 5.00pm and occasionally you may be required to work evenings.
