We require Nursing Auxiliaries to become part of the multi-disciplinary team providing care for patients in an inpatient setting. The key aspects of this role are to provide care for individuals who have a mental illness and or a learning disability and/or present a serious risk to themselves or others. You will report observed changes in the clients physical/psychological needs, and maintain accurate and up to date records to ensure effective communication. You will also be required to provide high quality patient care by carrying out a range of delegated clinical duties, directed by a registered nurse. You will at all times ensure all actions are completed with due diligence to the Mental Health Care and Treatment Act (Scotland). You should have a level of theoretical knowledge, obtained either through an SVQIII in Healthcare or gained through experience working in a caring environment/role. A willingness to undertake an SVQ qualification will be acceptable. The shift pattern is 12 hour shifts with rotation to night duty. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland’s PVG Scheme. PLEASE READ AND SAVE THE CANDIDATE APPLICATION PACK BEFORE SUBMITTING AN APPLICATION. This post closes on the 24th May 2019.
