Quarriers Village Supported Living Service has been developed to support 23 people who have epilepsy and learning disabilities to ensure they have ordinary living experiences. Quarriers have Investors in People Platinum accreditation and are one of only two social care organisations in Scotland to have this prestigious award. We are also an accredited Scottish Living Wage employer and pay sleepover hours at 8.75 per hour. Quarriers Village Support Living Service are looking to recruit a motivated and enthusiastic indvidual for the role of Support Worker (39hrs). We provide individualised care and support to adults with a range of complex needs. Ideal candidates will have a caring nature and the ability to interact well with people from all walks of life. You will be committed, flexible and a good listener and be able to offer practical support and advice. Previous care experience is not necessary, although it would help. Instead your ability to help others help themselves will shine through. Candidates must be aware that there is a limited bus service to the village throughout the week and no bus service during the weekend Please note that IT skills are required for all Quarriers vacancies.
