Job Description An exciting opportunity has arisen for a part time (0.6 fte), permanent outreach teacher with specific skills in and knowledge of supporting children with Hearing Impairments. This post is based in Stirling Council’s ASN Outreach Service. ASN Outreach Service are a team of peripatetic teachers working with children and young people aged 0-18. The role of the Hearing Impairment Outreach Teacher involves providing consultation, advice, assessment and support for children, young people, families and professionals in homes, nurseries, primary and secondary schools to ensure that all children and young people are appropriately supported to reach their full potential. The successful candidate will be based at Raploch Community Campus in Stirling and will travel to allocated primary and secondary schools within the Stirling Council area on a daily basis. Any enquiries should be directed to the Head Teacher on. Requirements The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children.
