Your Mission
The HR Assistant (Temporary) is responsible for providing day-to-day administrative support to the Vice President of Human Resources for Activision Blizzard Corporate Functions & Emerging Businesses. This includes calendar management, scheduling, contract/expense management, meeting/event coordination and communications. The HR Assistant will also participate in occasional HR-related tasks such as data entry, reporting, and obtaining approvals across leadership.

  • Please note, this is a temporary position for approx. 6 months.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Vice President, with a focus on managing and prioritizing the VP’s calendar/schedule
  • Schedule and prepare agendas/materials for meetings; take notes and follow up on actions
  • Organize and manage team events and HR events
  • Process expenses and manage execution of vendor contracts
  • Manage mailing/shipping requests and procure products and services as needed
  • Develop the culture and improve engagement within the AB HR Business Partner team and broader AB HR team
  • Write communications for and on behalf of the Vice President, ensuring general awareness and alignment across the organization
  • Provide HR and employee lifecycle support as needed, including (but not limited to) onboarding, supporting HR processes, generating reports, and exits
  • Provide administrative support to the broader AB HR Business Partner team as needed and requested
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • Exceptional detail orientation and organization skills, with strong sense of urgency and follow up/follow through

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Intermediate to advanced MS Office skills specifically in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with clients and team members
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • “Can-do,” proactive and flexible attitude with a willingness to help wherever needed
  • Desire to learn the Human Resources function, with potential to progress to other HR roles
