As a member of the administration team, you will provide the highest quality secretarial and administration service possible within the SCS team, ensuring that the organisation’s standards are met. This is an important role which requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with an understanding of the area of responsibility. Workload is generated by the clinical caseload and professional roles of the multi-disciplinary team/multi-agency team. You are expected to prioritise workload on a day to day basis and to demonstrate a degree of initiative when dealing with enquiries both face to face and on the telephone. You should be a proficient typist, with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly word and excel. Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to work as part of a team are essential. You should have ECDL or equivalent and experience of working in a secretarial/clerical background (preferably NHS). Knowledge of medical terminology would be advantageous.
