Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to)
Purpose of Job A Network Director will be responsible for working with Alpha USA to develop a network that will help enroll new churches and donors and cultivate existing churches and donors to the work of Alpha.
- Develop & execute a ministry plan for Alpha USA in Ohio to strategically grow Alpha as a Network Director that includes actions in church engagement, donor engagement and team leadership
Church Engagement:
- Build and grow the Alpha presence in Ohio in accordance with Alpha’s ministry values, operations, strategy and goals
- Actively support churches, organizations and individuals within Ohio to successfully, effectively and efficiently run Alpha through coaching, training and team development. Partner with regional hub and strategic churches and coaches to maximize reach and influence
- Train leaders and communicate effectively before a variety of audiences
- Utilize Alpha context teams to grow Alpha in these areas within Ohio (Strategic Church, Catholic, Youth, Prison)
Donor Development:
- Contribute to the National Ministry Team Development efforts
- Establish and maintain relationships with donors in Ohio to support the work
- Cast vision for and mobilize advisory board, donors and supporters (churches, volunteers, ) for Alpha’s role within Ohio
Team Leadership:
- Provide regular and effective communication to Alpha USA leadership team, advisory board and donors including accurate metric data to show progress towards goals
- Build organizational structures, systems and events to support and propel the growth of Alpha in Ohio
Contribute and engage with the National Ministry Team on regular team calls to discuss regional activity, fundraising efforts, internal support, and national initiatives
Essential Skills, Knowledge, and Experience
- Able to captivate and support influential leaders of growing churches effectively reaching the next generation
- Project and personnel management skills
- Has Alpha experience and/or story to build credibility with leaders and churches.
- Has strong computer skills and is proficient with technology including social media
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven team leadership skills that demonstrate ability to communicate vision and implement strategy
Education
- Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of ministry experience in the local church

- Experience with Alpha in various contexts (prisons, youth, Catholic)
