Placements Officer

Main Purpose Children and Young People’s Social Care’s newly formed ART (Access to Resources Team) require a Placements Officer to source placements for looked after children and packages of care to meet the needs of children and young people in line with the Local Authority’s Sufficiency Strategy and commissioned contracts. The successful candidate will be educated to NVQ Level 3, A Level (A-E grade) or have an equivalent level of proven experience relevant to the requirements of the post and have experience of working in a fast paced or complex environment in a social care, welfare or care environment with a good understanding of children in need.
