Business Development Coordinator – CGI – VA, USA

Position Description:

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Coordinator to assist our VP of Business Development in driving lead generation and expanding the business. You will conduct market analysis, initiate contact with prospects, generate leads and sales, maintain relationships with existing clients and address their needs, and complete a range of administrative duties.

To excel in this role, you will enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment, have excellent people skills, and be comfortable pitching and presenting to customers regularly.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

The Business Development Coordinator will perform the following key roles:

• Business Capture Coordination / Management (depending on size of pursuit)

o Includes ensuring pursuits are properly tracked, prep and coordination of Deal Step Reviews, work closely with, or as, Capture Manager for pursuits

o Provides support/preparation for client visits, presentations, conferences

• Proposal Management / Preparation

o Includes coordination and/or management of proposal documents and responses; ensures completeness and compliance of proposals

o Write/Create sections of proposals, executive summaries, cover letters in coordination with the proposal team

o Maintaining and growing repository of CGI’s qualifications, project experiences, references and researches additional information for inclusion in proposals

• Market Research / Marketing

o Conduct market research independently and upon request including, state and local IT spending data, upcoming initiatives, stakeholder identification, competitor identification/analysis

o Maintains/Helps create appropriate marketing materials for group in coordination with CGI marketing group

• Business Development Activities (optional depending on candidate and need)

o Accompany Bus Dev leads on client visits, presentations, conferences

o Support business development activities by qualifying and cultivating business leads and opportunities

o Help create decks and other presentation material for sales calls, management briefings and conferences
