Volunteer Coordinator – North Yorkshire – Permanent Part Time: 22 hours Salary – 22-24k pro-rata A Fantastic opportunity has come up for a Volunteer Coordinator to join our client, a multiple award-winning health charity in North Yorkshire. The successful candidate will be joining the team during an exciting period of development and contribute towards their vision. You will be an enthusiastic and proactive individual, working within a small award-winning team to provide crucial support to this fantastic charity’s volunteers. Your responsibilities will include recruiting, training and managing volunteers, ensuring that all volunteers receive the right level of support. Work with multiple organisations/agencies across different sectors in order to enable volunteering. You will also be required to ensure all policies and procedures are up-to-date. You must be educated to an A Level standard or with equivalent experience. In order to apply you must have excellent organisational and administrative skills and possess high levels of accuracy and attention to detail. You must hold at least 2 years experience, preferably in a data driven, customer facing environment. A high degree of IT literacy including experience of CRM databases (preferably eTapestry) and ability to use Outlook, Word and Excel to an intermediate level is also essential.
