There are hundreds of apps available on Google play and App store that helps you read or even edit office documents.

1. Install Microsoft Word app from Google play.
2. Launch the app, and set up the app for first use.
3. If you don’t want to sync documents across devices, simply skip Sign in.
4. Go to Open > This device, and select a word document from your device.
   
5. Or, Go to New > Blank Document in order to create a new document.
6. Edit the document using editing tools available in the app.
