Ventilation Service Co-ordinator – Paediatrics

The Home Ventilation Service provides ongoing support and education to ventilated children, their families and multidisciplinary team members both within a hospital and community setting throughout Scotland. You will be responsible for the overall service management and for leading coordination of care for the group of children/young people dependent on long-term respiratory support. You will also be required to liaise with Health Boards and Social Care Partnerships throughout Scotland to develop packages of care, negotiation of funding of care packages, facilitation of discharge planning, and the needs assessment; devising communication strategies. It is essential you are a Registered Childrens Nurse with current NMC registration and have substantial relevant post registration experience. The shift pattern is flexible to meet the needs of the service. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland’s PVG Scheme.
