VAT Technology Lead

VAT Technology Lead This role will be part of RSM’s wider strategy to capitalise on the opportunities associated with the digitalisation of tax and the new reporting requirements that this generates. This role will focus on capitalising on the implications for indirect tax in particular working with our thriving IT consulting practice to advise clients as to VAT determination, VAT data warehousing and Accounting in respect of ERP reviews and implementations. The candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and will seek opportunities to address the indirect tax technology implications of digitalisation with UK based mid-sized organisations. To build out our VAT technology capability, the role will involve working closely with the indirect tax team on specific client process, coding, data and IT related projects and with our Consulting practice in providing tax input into their systems design and implementation projects. You will need to be excited by building and cultivating a new offering within the Indirect Tax Practice while being co-located with our Consulting team.
