The pace of online registration of classes 9 and 11 in the UP Secondary Education Council is very slow. As of last year, only 25,000 students have registered for the board examination to be held next year. In view of the low number of registrations, the UP Board has extended the date to 21 September. On the other hand, there are more than 50 colleges whose students are still in DIOS office even after registration.
The registration process of class 9 and 11 for the UP board examination is currently underway. Last year, more than one lakh students had registered. According to officials of the Education Department, even after extending the registration date, only about 25 thousand students have been registered so far. Officials say the school has been closed for the last four months due to a corona infection. Registrations are decreasing due to this. If this situation happens, many schools will have to be closed. However the department expects registrations to increase after August 15.
Children’s forms are eating dust
The registration forms of over 500 students from more than 50 colleges are eating dust at the DIOS office. Employees say that many times the schools have been asked to call and take the registration form but colleges are not coming. In such a situation, notice will be issued to these colleges.
