Foobar Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for a Systems Automation Test Engineer who would be excited by working in a brand new team, assisting on the setup of a new automation test framework. Our client are developing a brand new product range from the ground up and this requires a completely new approach to testing. You will join the team at the ground level, and assist the Principal engineers in effectively setting up the framework, as well as ensuring the continued interations of testing are delivered. Our client are looking for a high calibre of individual, who can really problem solve. They are however happy to consider a wide range of seniority levels. As such, if you are a Senior who is experienced in systems level testing of networking devices, it’s a great opportunity, but equally if you are a Junior who would like to move in to Systems testing (perhaps from network engineering, or even software testing), then our client are happy to bring you on board and offer training. A great location in North Cambridge, where you will work alongside a top quality team of engineers. Requirements for application: An understanding of low level networking, with at least some knowledge of TCP/IP, protocols, VLAN tagging, prioritisation etc Either an experienced Systems Test Automation Engineer, or a Junior who wants to get in to Automated Systems Testing.
