Job Description Within Clackmannanshire Schools Support Service we currently have 60 pupils educated offsite. A focus for each of these pupils is to improve their overall health and fitness and this includes physical fitness through exposure and experiences of different sport activities. Our pupils can sometimes experience difficulties with: Language and Communication Trauma and Loss Attachment issues ASD Low self esteem The Support Worker will play an active role in the CSSS Team through supporting children and young people to access various sport and fitness activities including the development of programmes for individuals and small groups. This will include preparing some young people to gain qualifications. Requirements This post is considered regulated work with children and/or protected adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council.
