Supply Early Years Educator

Job Description Based within one of our Nursery teams, you will work up to 37 hours per week either term time or extended year capacity. When work is available you will be contacted. There is no obligation on the Children and Families Service to offer you work, nor are you obliged to accept work. Requirements You will have an HNC in childcare and Education, or equivalent, and be eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council. Responsibilities You will work as part of a team to promote the all round development and well being of young children from birth to 5 years. The Individual You will also have experience of working in an early years and childhood setting, have observations/written report experience and good communication skills. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
