Supervisory Assistant Part Time – Permanent

Advert Renfrewshire Council supports payment of the Living Wage of £8.75 per hour as the minimum level of remuneration to its employees . Therefore, successful applicants will be paid the ‘Living Wage’ – (the Hourly Rate for the post + a Living Wage Pay Supplement, in order to bring their earnings to £8.75 per hour). Based at Wallace Primary School, Greenhill Crescent, Elderslie. Working during the school term, under the direction of the Head Teacher, you will be responsible for securing the safety, welfare and conduct of all pupils during the lunchtime break. Other duties include assisting pupils in selecting meals; distribution and collection of meal tickets; cleaning up spillages and any other duties associated with the running of the dining hall. You must have experience of dealing with children and have the ability to build relationships with the children. You must also be an effective communicator. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
