Senior Finance Analyst

About the Role: This role will sit in the Marketing Finance team, reporting into the Marketing Finance Manager • Act as a Commercial Finance business partner to the Paid Marketing Team • Own the month end process for Paid Marketing, from preparation of Accruals and prepayments through the presenting to Senior Mgt on monthly performance and trends. • Partner the team to deliver timely & accurate weekly, monthly, seasonal and annual forecast of KPIS’s, identify any potential risks/opportunities and communicate them to the Finance Manager • Provide accurate and timely commentary to the Finance manager and Senior Mgt on movements in KPI’s forecasts versus Actuals and Last Year • Improve forecast accuracy by working with key stakeholders around the business to better understand all inputs and drive accountability to the business • Delivering independent analysis, insight and business performance improvements to support costs and profitability • Drive continuous improvement across all areas in all aspects of Paid Marketing • Provide the manager with support in any ad-hoc analysis on potential initiatives, scenario analysis and reporting requirements About you: Experience • Part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or similar) • 1+ years of experience performing a finance role preferably in the Retail or e-Commerce industry • Business partnering experience • Experience in establishing and managing relationships with stakeholders and business partners, including non-finance functions • Familiar with forecasting and budgeting process Skills • High standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data • Commercially aware within the e-commerce and retail industry • Ability to be proactive within a fast-paced, dynamic environment susceptible to change • Ability to multi-task and must be well organized; attention to detail; high level of accuracy; ability to meet established deadlines; ability to work under pressure; ability to work independently with minimum supervision • Advanced Excel skills and computer literate with the ability to work with and manipulate large amounts of data • Good communication/ interpersonal and influencing skills Why New Look?
