Description:
Position Purpose: The National Medicare Group Retiree Account Executive is responsible for developing and driving new market initiatives, assessing market opportunities, analyzing business opportunities and closing new group sales of Medicare Employer Group Waiver Plans (EGWP) in markets across the country. Will be responsible for prospecting, lead generation, networking, and expanding and maintaining broker, consultant and other sales partner relationships to grow and retain membership in EGWP plans.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: High School diploma or equivalent, Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Minimum two or more years of successful sales or business development experience in the health insurance field and a proven track record in prospecting, lead generation and sales in health insurance. Experience with Medicare Employer Group Waiver Plans, labor & union trusts and/or large group insurance sales highly preferred. Proven record of growing and retaining membership by focusing on employer groups through broker and consultant relationships is critical to the success of this role.
License/Certification: Valid insurance license issued by appropriate state insurance regulating agency for assigned territory required within 45 days of hire. Valid driver’s license
