Production Manager

We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Production Manager to lead and manage around 20 operatives on a 14.00 to 22.00 shift pattern, Monday to Friday. You must lead and manage the team so that they are engaged, productive and have a clear focus on team work, meeting deadlines and working to laid down standards. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have the key responsibilities of, but not limited to: Motivating and leading the shift to ensure deadlines are met and orders fulfilled correctly Developing and improving the skill sets of operatives, identifying areas for improvement, and facilitating improvements Building trust by effective leadership, management and effective communications Working alongside management and other departments to ensure the production process is as efficient as possible Completing and maintaining records relating to production, including food safety and HACCP Leading by example to promote all company procedures for food safety and a safe working environment You will be a capable and enthusiastic manager who can be relied upon to successfully complete tasks, work to demanding deadlines, and get the best out of your team. Previous supervisory or management experience in a fast-paced high-risk food production environment is essential.
