Product Engineer (Entry Level) – Vogt Power International – KY, USA

Primarily responsible for providing equipmentspecifications for fabricators. Specifies purchase of valves, pumps, silencers, heat exchangers, deaerators, etc. Responsible for technical correspondence with subcontracting, vendors, and field personnel.Essential Responsibilities:

• Provides all equipment specs to fabricators.
• Responsible for technical content of all equipment purchases.
• Specifies for purchase all large bore valves and small bore valves with motors.
• Sizes and specifies all safety relief valves for purchase.
• Sizes and specifies all pumps with motors for purchase.
• Sizes and specifies heat exchangers and deaerators.
• Develops line, valve, and equipment lists.
• Calculates valve and process flow.
• Provides technical correspondence with vendor, field, subcontracting and manufacturing.
• Reviews Process Flow Diagram
• Develops P&IDs.
• Shares information with project team.
• Reviews code calculations and customer specifications.
• Reviews and checks settings drawings.
• Attends department and project meetings.
• Communicates with all internal groups and departments to ensure the success of projects.

Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: • Bachelor in Engineering

• Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Computer experience and knowledge of EXCEL, WORD, and other relevant packaged software.
• Able to meet travel requirements.
