Part-Time Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller – The Role: A capable and proactive Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller is needed to join a fast-paced commercial business on the outskirts of Exeter in a part-time temporary to permanent basis. Working in a standalone position and reporting to the Directors, you will be responsible for: Handling inbound and making outbound credit control calls and emails to customers. Building effective working relationships with colleagues and customers handling invoice discrepancies and queries, escalating issues as appropriate. Arranging payment plans and issuing credit notes where needed. Maintaining the sales ledger on QuickBooks. Taking payments and allocating payments to customer accounts on QuickBooks. Producing debtor reports. Other accounting duties as needed. Part-Time Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller – The Person: The successful candidate will be an effective and confident communicator with some recent credit control experience and a track record in accounts administration. You will possess an approachable personality and a confident, positive attitude readily able to build rapport with customers. Good IT skills are essential ideally including QuickBooks. Part-Time Accounts Assistant / Credit Controller – The Rewards: This employer provides a supportive and friendly working environment. This role is initially offered on a temporary basis with a view to becoming permanent for the right person. Salary: £18,000 – £20,000pa pro rata + benefits including holiday pay and parking. Hours: c24hours per week to be worked between Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.
