The nurse bank provides a pool of staff required to work on an as-and-when basis in a variety of clinical settings to help cover shortfalls in staffing.  You must deliver a high standard of patient-centred care; be kind, caring, professional, flexible and reliable. If this is you, then you may be a suitable candidate for the Nurse Bank. Please note that in order to apply for the post of Bank Staff Nurse, you must be a Registered Nurse with the NMC, with up to date acute experience working in a hospital setting as a Staff Nurse.  To apply for the post of Bank Midwife, you must be Registered as a Midwife with the NMC, with up to date experience working as a Midwife.
