Midwife Rotational – Inpatient/Community

You will deliver high quality evidence based woman and baby centered care. You will be involved in the planning, implementing and evaluating clinical care within all areas of the maternity service, ensuring compliance with Greater Glasgow and Clyde (GG&C) policies and procedures and maintaining statutory requirements in accordance with the NMC. You will be involved in planning, assessing, developing, implementing and evaluating planned programmes of care. You will be an advocate for women and their families and promoting normality throughout pregnancy, labour and the postnatal period and provide a health education role for women their partners and extended families. You will set and maintain standards of care and recognise deviations from normal and implementing appropriate action. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Midwife with the NMC and having a current driving licence would be desirable. The shift pattern for this post is 7.5/11.5 hours day/night rotation.
