A specialist software company based in Fareham who work with the very latest technologies are searching for a Lead Software Engineer to join their team. As a Lead Software Engineer , you’ll be working on an interesting mix of products and prototypes for broadcasters, telecoms and VOD providers across the UK and abroad. You’ll be responsible for managing team tasks and projects, but you’ll also keep a hands-on aspect building practical distributed systems so having the willingness to get stuck in is a must for this role. You’ll also be responsible for the mentorship of the more junior members of your team. You’ll be leading from the front as soon as you join and help them overcome the daily challenges of software engineering The successful Lead Software Engineer will have experience in the following; Java AWS NoSQL Experience in any of the following would be a distinct advantage; Mongo Cassandra Hadoop Storm The role of Lead Software Engineer is paying up to £55,000 but potentially more for exceptional candidates.
