You will provide professional leadership and advice on all aspects of community nursing to staff within Older Peoples Services including community nursing (day & out of hours), treatment room, specialist nurses and practice development nurses. You will contribute to the effectiveness of the HSCP through ensuring nursing teams deliver effective, evidence based patient care and innovative clinical services. There will be an emphasis on professional development which delivers clinically effective services in line with the clinical governance and organisational development strategies of the service. The post holder will participate in various forums and work closely with colleagues from other disciplines ensuring a muliti-agency approach. It is essential you are a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration and have a Degree supplemented by specialist training or equivalent experience in area this area. You should also have experience of change management and leading practice development initiatives. Project mange experience and a current Driving Licence is desirable. The hours of this post are worked Monday to Friday This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland’s PVG Scheme.
