Job Description Reporting to Technical and Engineering Officers; responsible for monitoring and recording the installation of the City’s street lighting renewal programme to meet targets and comply with electrical technical standards. An ONC / SVQ qualification in Electrical Engineering and/or Approved Electrician status and/or Electrician with a valid ECS Certificate is essential. You must have a good working knowledge of the current Wiring Regulations, Technical Standards and Codes of Practice in electrical distribution. Good communication/organisational skills and a current driving licence are essential. Based at 231 George Street, Glasgow, this position is an ideal opportunity for Electrical Graduates to develop their career or electricians wishing to transfer into a more technical field.
