Infant Feeding Advisor

As an Infant Feeding Advisor you will be working across NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, primarily in the Clyde area, delivering staff training and expert advice on infant feeding to multi disciplinary team. You will be working in partnership with HSCPs to implement UINICEF Baby Friendly Standards and Scottish Government Maternal and Infant Nutrition Framework. You will provide expert clinical care at breastfeeding clinics. You will act as a specialist clinical expert on the management of infant feeding and provide specialist services for mothers and babies identified as high risk or with challenging breastfeeding problems. It is essential that you are currently a Registered midwife, Health Visitor, Dietitian with the NMC. You should have substantial experience in a clinical setting and have extensive knowledge and understanding of the evidence base for the management of feeding problems. The shift pattern for this post is Monday – Friday This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland’s PVG Scheme.
