Summary What makes a stay in a National Trust holiday cottage that extra bit special? There’s the dramatic location and the glorious scenery. There’s the getting-away-from-the-hustle-and-bustle feeling too. But for lots of our guests, it’s the thoughtful home-from-home touches. Like the fire you’ve prepared for them, to the biscuits and milk you’ve left out in case they’re peckish or craving a cup of tea. Please note that the normal working day in the summer is a Friday, however flexibility to work other days, particularly outside of the summer months, is essential due to short breaks and late bookings. For an informal chat about the role please contact Jo Cox onor Jane Pattemore on What it’s like to work here The gorgeous Cornish countryside is right on your doorstep when you stay at our holiday cottages at Triggabrowne. There is a network of local footpaths taking in creeks, cliffs, woodland and open country waiting to be explored. The tithe map of Triggabrowne from around 1840 shows a settlement consisting of a farm house, cattle yard and house, as well as a barn, rickyard and orchard. The buildings on the old farming settlement were restored into holiday cottages after becoming derelict when they were no longer needed for farming. Fortescue has 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 people, and a living room on the first floor, maximizing the farmland views.
