HO1024 – Senior Social Care Worker

Job Advert You must have experience of providing professional care and support to older people. You must have good organisational skills, experience at Senior level, an ability to work on your own initiative and have proven decision-making and problem solving abilities. You will be experienced in the supervision and support of a large team of professional support staff and be able to manage the service in the absence of the manager. This post requires an individual who can actively participate as an integral part of the Resource Centres management team in the development of our intermediate care, respite and long term care services and in ensuring delivery of the highest possible quality of care and outcomes for those we support. An SVQ Level 3 in Social Care is essential for the post; CSS, DipSW or equivalent is desirable. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership. You must register with the SSSC as a Practitioner in care home services for adults within 6 months and meet the conditions of your registration within three years.
