Job Advert Falkirk Council and Falkirk Community Trust currently applies a living wage supplement to all employees earning less than £8.51 per hour. The value of the living wage supplement is subject to regular review by the Council and the Trust, is non-contractual and can be changed at any time. To carry out domestic tasks related to the basic cleaning of bedrooms, corridors and communal areas, working closely with elderly residents. To share duties within the kitchen and laundry areas of the Home, including operating cleaning, drying and ironing equipment. To share in the ongoing basic cleaning tasks within dining and kitchen areas in order to maintain a high standard of cleanliness. To be aware of and carry out the Regulations laid down in The Health and Safety at Work Act (copies available in the establishment). To carry out domestic tasks as instructed by the Manager or appointed senior. To take responsibility for ensuring that a healthy and safe working environment exists for all employees and service users as appropriate to their role. To work within a residential home for older people with dementia. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
