We require a Paediatric physiotherapist with appropriate clinical experience to join the Acute Paediatric Physiotherapy Service based at The Royal Hospital for Children (RHC), Glasgow for 1 year fixed contract which should be starting in April 2019 at the Royal Hospital for Children, Glasgow, is one of the largest paediatric centres in the UK and is a national and tertiary referral centre for a wide range of paediatric specialities. We require a suitably qualified paediatric physiotherapist with relevant experience of paediatric neurology and child development to join our dynamic acute neurology team. You will lead the delivery of physiotherapy to children and young people with cancer at RHC Glasgow; you will work closely with the neuroscience and community physiotherapy services; you will be a team player with a high level of physiotherapy expertise and experience; you will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills; you will participate in respiratory on-call evening, weekend and public holiday duties. It is essential that you have a Diploma / Degree in Physiotherapy and that you are registered with the HCPC with significant experience in paediatric physiotherapy or physiotherapy in oncology. You should have experience in child development and experience of respiratory on-cal.
