Healthcare Support Worker – Urology

An opportunity has arisen for a Health Care Support Worker, Band 2 position within ward 69/70 Glasgow Royal Infirmary. This is a full time position, 37.5 hours per week. The shift pattern is variable; predominately 11.5 hour shifts and is fully rotational. The ward is a busy 24 bedded unit primarily for scheduled care. We do receive emergencies to the ward and carry out diagnostic procedures within our diagnostic hub situated in ward 69. You will work with registered nurses to provide effective nursing care for urology patients. We are looking for an individual committed to delivering compassionate care and prepared to participate in ongoing learning. Experience of working within a hospital environment would be beneficial, but not essential. The shift pattern for this post includes rostered weekend working.
