You will be expected to provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive, safe, person centred and effective health visiting service in the community, by working in partnership with children, young people and families, care providers and other agencies. Using a community development approach you will work in partnership with colleagues, individuals, the local community, health improvement staff and other agencies to identify and address health needs. You will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience to lead and enable the health visiting team to provide a safe, person centred and effective quality service. We are seeking qualified NMC registered Health visitor to take forward the NPM and universal pathway in Inverclyde for children and families aged 0-5years. You will have designated caseload responsibilities and work in a small locality team. It is essential that you are currently registered with the NMC and that you have a post-registration qualification in Health Visiting/Public Health Nursing and that you have evidence of continuing professional development. Having a current driving licence is essential. The shift pattern for this post is 3 days between Monday and Friday. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland’s PVG Scheme.
