Health Care Support Worker – General Outpatients

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team and provide care to patients in support of the trained nurse and will regularly work unsupervised. You will be expected to share responsibility for key aspects of care delivery, prioritising workload whilst providing a safe and supportive environment in order to care for patients within outpatients meeting identified physical and psychosocial needs. There is an expectation you will contribute to the effective management of resources including supplies/equipment. It is essential you have good IT and communication skills. It is desirable you have a NVQ 2 in Healthcare with some experience in phlebotomy. The shift pattern is variable. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland’s PVG Scheme.
