Graphic Designer

Job Description Midlothian Council would like to invite applications for the post of Graphic Designer. Jobholders must have an HND or above level qualification in graphic design or a related subject together with proven experience in providing a graphic design function across both print and digital platforms. In-depth knowledge of printing processes, together with Indesign, Apple Mac, Photoshop, Illustrator and other design packages is an essential requirement for this post. In-depth knowledge of digital production techniques, infographics, video and photography production and animation is desirable. You will work within the communications team to provide a graphic design service for all council services. Based on you working 36 hours over 52 weeks per year the minimum actual salary for this position is £22,015.79 per annum.
