Facilities Assistant – Domestic

You will be supporting the provision of quality patient care within a new state of the art adult acute and children’s hospital facility. The Facilities Directorate deliver a variety of services (e.g. patient and retail catering, domestic cleaning, portering, transport) which support and contribute to the provision of quality patient care. Your duties will include: Present an efficient, high quality domestic service to patients and staff and follow specific schedule of work relating to defined areas although you are required to have a flexible approach to daily routine. You will take care and use of mechanical cleaning equipment and inform Supervisor of requirements for work materials as required and check delivery of cleaning supplies and equipment. No experience is desirable as training will be given while duties are being carried out Monday – Friday. This post requires membership of Disclosure Scotland’s PVG Scheme.
