ES7706 – Additional Support For Learning Adviser

Job Advert Falkirk Council Children Services (Education) are seeking to recruit the post of a permanent Additional Support for Learning Advisor. The post holder will work across the local authority as part of the ASN service to develop and implement inclusion and equality. The successful candidate will contribute to all aspects of progressing, developing and delivering Additional Support Needs services including, working with schools, parents, departmental staff and other agencies to develop authority policies, quality assurance, training and curriculum development in respect of pupils with additional support needs. You should have sound knowledge of the ASL and the Equalities Legislation ensuring the authority fulfills its statutory role and responsibilities with the context of the ASL and Equalities legislation. This is a part-time permanent post – 24.5 hours over 52 weeks to ensure continuity of service. If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
