Applications are invited from qualified Environmental Health Officers for this post within Communities, Housing and Planning Services based at Renfrewshire House, Cotton Street, Paisley. The post is in the Business Regulation Team within Communities and Public Protection. You must be motivated and enthusiastic and be able to work as part of a team as well as working on your own initiative with minimum supervision. You must also be able to deal with the public and have effective communication, reporting and IT skills. You will require to participate in Communities and Public Protection Stand by Service therefore, you must be able to work flexibly. It is essential you have a Degree in Environmental Health or other equivalent qualifications as issued by the Royal Environmental Health Institute. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
