Employment Specialist, Mental Health Background, Belfast Base, £21k Annual Salary, Great Benefits List Your new company A leading Mental Health charity who have partnered with another public sector organisation to create a new position for an Employment Specialist to join their team. This organisation tries to overcome the stigma surrounding Mental Health and every service they offer aims to make a positive difference to their service users health & well being. Your new role You will be employed by the charity but will also have an active role with the partnered organisation where you will attend meetings as the charity’s representative. You will provide a recovery focused supported employment service by working with individuals who have experienced mental health problems and wish to gain employment. You will source employment opportunities and liaise with external bodies to build relationships while also participating in clinical case management reviews. What you’ll need to succeed As an Employment Specialist you must have previous experience in a Supported Employment environment, you will have previously helped people find new employment opportunities while also possessing a sound knowledge in overcoming barriers to employment. Aside from the Employment aspect of this role, you must have previously worked with service users with mental health issues. Applicants must have a full driving licence.
