Job Description Based in various locations working full year, part time and full time posts are available. Interviews will be held week beginning 22 April 2019. As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete an online behavioural questionnaire. This questionnaire measures how you would think or behave in the job role and your profile results will be matched against pre-determined criteria established for the job role. Requirements You will have an HNC in Childcare and Education, or equivalent, and be eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council. Responsibilities You will work flexibly as part of a team to promote the allround development and wellbeing of young children from birth to 5 years. The Individual You will have experience of early years provision and observation/written report experience, with a good understanding of early years curriculum and good practice. You will have good planning, organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. You will be willing to pursue your own professional development, to contribute to the development and implementation of the nursery improvement plan and to the training, mentoring and support for students. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
