How to: Crash someone’s web browser with just a website link

Here i’m gonna talk about a website that when opens in Web browsers like Chrome, Safari, it crashes the browser or even the entire device. Since the website link opens in the web browser, it freezes the user’s browser or even it will reset your iPhone or iPad or your entire device will hang. People who get this link from their friends are actually confused about the link, but the reality is not a hack or malware.

Update: Browser companies has fixed this issue on their web browsers, so the JavaScript code that crash the browser can not work in the new version of the browser. Many antivirus companies have blacklists such links, so the browser crashing trick probably not work on your friend’s device.

The website uses a small snippet of JavaScript code that a loop consistently adds letters to the address bar of the browser and surcharges the app memory. According to the my test, Firefox prompts the box to stop the script and the Microsoft Edge handles the script entirely, but Chrome and Safari may crash completely or your device also stops responding. Here’s a snapshot of the site’s JavaScript code highlighted with red color:

People are sending and posting the link to social media sites and instant messengers, and their friends who clicked it crashed. I was also impressed with this link because the sender shortened the website link using URL shorten service like Google URL shorten or Bitly, and I do not really know who this link is about. You can also type a sweet message with the link, so that the receiver can click on the link.

These are links, you can copy and send to your friends, or wherever you want.

Attention! Copy the link securely, do not click
