About the Role This is an excellent opportunity to lead a catering team and develop you supervisory skills in a friendly, forward thinking school. We are looking for someone with a real flair for cooking and a passion for producing delicious seasonally inspired meals using fresh, organic ingredients that are sometimes from the school garden. The role will require excellent interpersonal skills as you will be responsible for leading the preparation, cooking and delivery of the lunch service each day. You will also be expected to order supplies and manage the professional development of the staff. Catering experience and relevant qualifications are required to fulfill this role. We offer the opportunity for you to gain, build and develop your current supervisory and management skills, with further options to work towards a level 3 qualification in food hygiene. Our catering team at Ashley Primary School consists of a Catering Manager and six Catering Assistants.
