Advert Based in various locations throughout Renfrewshire. You will assist the catering manager and other staff members in the preparation of raw foodstuffs and the keeping of food records. Duties include the use of manual and electrical appliances, stocking of service areas, setting out and clearing away dining areas, cash handling, till operation and keeping the kitchen and dining room areas clean. You must have a high awareness of hygiene practices and have the ability to prepare and service food and beverages. In addition you should be able to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues and have a friendly, outgoing and flexible attitude. Previous experience of working in a kitchen environment is preferred but not essential as full training will be given. If successful, you will be required to undertake a Disclosure Scotland check, the level of check will be determined by the duties of the post.
