Bakery Operative

Seasonal Vacancy, Nights Calling all students, or is your work assignment finished early in December Starting 17th December 2018 We are currently looking to recruit x11 to work as a bakery operative on a night shift for a Birds bakery based on Ascot Drive Derby. The role: You will initially start on in the packing department helping to pack various baked goods in boxes or protective wrapping and putting boxes onto pallets. Once you have demonstrated an ability to carry this out effectively you will be able to move in the bakery assisting in the production of various baked goods This can progress to a long term ongoing position with a pay increase after 12 weeks and the possibility to become permanent for the right person last permanent contracts offered November 2018. Warm, fast paced environment. Full PPE including hairnet overcoat and safety boots. The hours: This is a 40 hours a week job working 5 days a week but does include working a Sunday night. Start times vary throughout the week from 21:00 – 18:00 Pay Rate: £8.28 rising to £9.68 after 12 weeks.
