This position is in the Agent Desktop team, which utilizes cutting-edge technologies to provide a world class desktop application. The Agent Desktop application’s innovative user interface caters to both the administrative and business user; the emphasis being on usability, visual appeal, and a customizable, feature rich user experience. The underlying architecture provides modular building blocks for internal consumption and rapid development, as well as easy customer and partner integration at the desktop level.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Implement new workflow features utilizing modern Web development tools
Write automated unit/acceptance tests
Participate in design and code reviews

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Background:
3+ years of professional software development experience
BS/MS in a technical engineering discipline
Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming in a statically typed language such as Java, C#, or C++
Experience developing Web-based products using tools such as React, Angular, Knockout, Vue, CSS, HTML 5, JavaScript, RequireJs, and JQuery
Strong written and oral communication skills

Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Background:
Experience with TypeScript, Sass, MVC and/or MVVM design patterns, Acceptance Testing tools, Continuous Delivery, CRM applications, Agile developmentDetailed Description and Job Requirements

 Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.

As a member of the software engineering division, you will perform high-level design based on provided external specifications. Specify, design and implement minor changes to existing software architecture. Build highly complex enhancements and resolve complex bugs. Build and execute unit tests and unit plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering as necessary to discuss minor changes to product functionality and to ensure quality and consistency across specific products.

Duties and tasks are varied and complex needing independent judgment. Fully competent in own area of expertise. May have project lead role and or supervise lower level personnel. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 4 years of software engineering or related experience.
