The second generation is rolling over all Motorola devices and this time Moto E becomes a 2nd generation device called Moto E 2nd gen. The device features is very similar to Moto E 1st generation, but there are some good upgrades in second generation you can see the below specs table. Now the major feature in this device comes with 4G LTE internet standard give you a blazing faster internet speed at the lowest price you didn’t expect yet. You can also customize your Moto E 2nd generation device with colorful accent bands specially made for this device, comes with multi-colors set. The most loving things for me is accessories comes with Moto devices like Key chain power pack and more.

4.5″ qHD Display

4.5″ is a little bigger size than 1st generation moto e 4.3″, but the resolution 540×960 is same on both generation devices. This time the display goes more clearly and sharpest in its class. The display glass of this device is built with Gorilla Glass 3 which mostly comes with all Motorola smartphones. Another display quality is protected with an Anti – smudge coating, protect your display against dirt & dusts. Pixel density of 245 ppi will make your colors of visual more better in this device, but the density goes a little down if you compare with moto e 1st gen. because it has 256 ppi.

Powerful 3G & 4G LTE connectivity

There are 2 different models built of moto e 2nd Gen. , one is powered with 3G speed and second is powered with both 3G4G LTE. B/W both 3G & 4G devices the price difference exist and the 4G LTE powered moto e is little more costly.

I don’t believe that at the price you’re taking this moto device is also have 4G connectivity because previously built budget devices by Motorola near this device price didn’t have 4G connectivity, so it’s a better opportunity for you to experience 4G with this budget moto device.

5 MP Rear & Front VGA Camera

Now, to open camera is more cool by twisting your wrist. Rear camera is 5 MP, which is best according to the price of the device. You can easily capture photos by clicking anywhere on the screen while the camera is activated. On 1st Gen. Moto e device, front camera is not existing that’s why Motorola upgrade the camera feature and give you a front VGA camera to take a good selfie.

There are some more features in camera like Auto HDRPanorama, 4X zoom and more which makes the moto e second generation camera more better, but these features are already in all moto devices including 1st Gen. Moto e, so i think you didn’t care about these specs.

Snapdragon™ processor with quad-core CPU

Quad-core CPU with 1.2GHz clock speed is in both 4G and 3G moto e second Gen. models, the only changes is Snapdragon processor model which in 4G device comes with Snapdragon™ 410 processor, and other 3G device comes with Snapdragon™ 200 processor.

Motorola is also giving Adreno 400 MHz GPU, where 4G model has Adreno 306 and 3G have Adreno 304. 1st generation moto e have adreno 302 and now in second generation adreno goes replace with a little new model as I said above.

2390 mAh battery lasted up to all day

This time the battery goes removable which you didn’t do with the 1st generation moto e device. Now in moto e 2nd Gen. you can easily remove the battery and replace with another battery, if you love to carry multiple batteries with you of the same device. The battery comes with 2nd gen. Moto e is of 2390 mAh, which is more than moto e 1st Gen battery 1980 mAh non-removable. According to Motorola the battery will work up to 24 hours (1 day) * but it is conditional according to your usage of 3G/4G connectivity.

Latest Android Lollipop 5.0

Android 5.0 is now must for smartphones launching in 2015. Another upgrade of lollipop comes to 5.1, which have some security features like android 5.1 remain locked with google account even after hard reset and more. 1st gen. Moto e has the ability to upgrade to 5.0, and in 2nd Gen. You didn’t need to upgrade because it already comes with lollipop 5.0.2.

Motorola is very good for OS upgrades that is the major reason of returning of Motorola in the market. Previously build all popular moto devices are all have ability to upgrade the device android version to lollipop.

Colorful accent bands

The bands you see in the above snapshot are all made for Moto e 2nd generation device and this is a unique & major quality of this device. Currently there are two band sets available : Turquoise, Purple, & RaspberryRed, Blue, & Golden Yellow. Both color sets are looking fabulous and you can buy both accent band sets to customize the device every day. A single set Moto E 2nd gen. Bands will cost you $19.99, according to the official Motorola website.

Better performance with 1GB RAM & 8GB* flash memory

1GB RAM is the best amount of ram at this budget smartphone device. If you compare this 2nd generation device with other brands budget devices, then you see 1GB ram is everywhere and 1st Gen moto e is also has 1GB ram so I think it is more ram at this price.

Internal storage of 2nd Gen moto e is just doubled 8GB than 1st Gen moto e (4GB). The conditional (*) flash memory means the user memory is about 4.5GB, and other left storage is for apps which is more than your expectation.

Price: Budget Phone

Moto E 2nd generation is a budget smartphone and according to the official Motorola site the price is around $119.99, to know the best price of this device we suggest you to visit your favorite online & offline store today.
